The online Urban Greening Platform, to be launched by the European Union, in line with the Biodiversity Strategy Actions, will provide cities with a consistent reference point for accessing information and support in defining their urban greening plans.
Within the site, a map shows some best practices and projects relevant from this point of view, including the Vertical Forest in Milan and the Trudo Vertical Forest in Eindhoven. In addition, the homepage also mentions the Wonderwoods project in Utrecht: all three projects by Stefano Boeri Architetti are highlighted as examples of climate resilience, increased biodiversity and improved living conditions in cities.
