A collaboration with Aran Cucine in order to bring in an interior a small percentage of the vegetation of Bosco Verticale (Vertical Forest). With Oasi (oasis), Stefano Boeri Architetti redefines the typical kitchen island layout transforming it in a single squared – shaped dining table-cooking block that houses all the essential elements of a traditional living space together with all the technological devices that allow the preparation, conservation and waste of food.
The presence of a lemon tree at the center of Oasi strengthens the idea of the kitchen centrality in human relationships, the importance of conviviality in the varied network of connections that enliven contemporary daily life and, at the same time, underlines the different relationship that this new center has with the surrounding space it becomes a catalyst of where people can gather, tell stories and share recipes, thoughts and memories.
