On Dezeen an article describes the Easyhome Huanggang Vertical Forest City Complex, the first vertical forest realized in China designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti China. The two residential towers of the complex are 80 metres high and covered in 404 trees, 4,620 shrubs and 2,408 square metres of perennial plants, flowers and climbing plants.
“In the case of Huanggang, the façade solution allowed us to make the most of relationship with trees and greenery which present both in the balconies and in the bow-window,” says architect Stefano Boeri. “Thus, the inhabitants of the residential towers have the opportunity to experience the urban space from a different perspective while fully enjoying the comfort of being surrounded by nature”
