The January issue of the Korean trade publication Archiworld, dedicates an article to the Easyhome Huanggang Vertical Forest project, designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti China for the city of Huanggang in the Hubei province of China.
The project is designed to adapt to the living experience of different inhabitants, enhancing the social mix within the building and ensuring accessibility for all citizens. In addition to offices, hotels and commercial spaces, distributed throughout the podium to offer a high functional variety, the complex features two residential towers housing a total of 404 trees, 4620 shrubs and 2408 square metres of perennials, flowers and climbing plants, inserted in the irregular façade design, conceived to allow the tree crowns to grow freely.
