On Monday, June 22 at 6:30 PM at Casa Testori, the event Testori, Love at the Feet of the Cathedral takes place as the inauguration of the exhibition “Cantiere per la Cattedrale (Building Site for The Cathedral),” with the participation of Stefano Boeri alongside Giovanni Agosti and Luca Doninelli.
The cathedral is clearly the Duomo di Milano — a kind of magnet for Testori’s imagination, at once the geometric center of the city and a pulsating architecture that allows itself to be invaded by the tumult of life surrounding it. The Duomo recurs repeatedly in his writings, regardless of whether the medium is literature, theatre, poetry, or art criticism.
For this reason, the event accompanying the opening of the exhibition features an architect, Stefano Boeri, and a writer, Luca Doninelli — both profound connoisseurs of Milan — who are invited to reflect, in dialogue with Giovanni Agosti and Giuseppe Frangi, on this dimension of the Duomo as the genetic center of the city.
The event is preceded by a speech by Enzo Pesce, president of the Fondazione Maurizio Fragiacomo.
