The Austrian newspaper Kurier analyses the Easyhome Huanggang Vertical Forest project, the first example of the Vertical Forest typology in China. The article focuses on the adaptability of the typology, taking into consideration the differences between the first intervention in Milan and the Chinese one – with regard to the 404 trees covering the building, all of which are native species, for example.
“In China, we are witnessing a great interest in green spaces and urban forests in recent years. They are a fundamental tool for absorbing fine dust, which is one of the main factors of air pollution in Chinese cities,’ adds Stefano Boeri.
