Stefano Boeri and Maria Chiara Pastore (Director of Stefano Boeri Architetti) partecipate respectively in two events within the The Nature of Cities Festival 2022, designed to push radically the boundaries to imagine our cities for the future.
On 29th March Maria Chiara Pastore presents the project Parco Italia. Towrds a National Park together with Luis Pimentel, Fabio Salbitano and Giorgio Vacchiano. Parco Italia is an urban forestry and green infrastructure program that focuses on the 14 Italian metropolitan areas to enhance biodiversity and foster the ecological transition. The Parco Italia project aims to connect cities with the Apennine and Alpine Forest systems through ecological corridors, creating a large green infrastructure.
On 30th March at 2pm will be held the keynote speech entitled Green Obsession: Trees Towards Cities, Humans Towards Forests of Stefano Boeri in occasion of the plenary. Green Obsession is new book edited by Stefano Boeri Architetti, which explained the inspirations and forms of the green obsession that characterizes Stefano Boeri Architetti’s works in the last 15 years.
The meeting also attended by Nina-Marie Lister, Wolfgang Weisser, Korine Schultz, WRI Ross Center Prize for Cities, ALDA, The Convervation Found, Connecting Nature, Natura Network and Liza Paqueo.
