Ardoino Park, part of the Genova Campasso project designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti, Politecnica Ingegneria e Architettura, Ba+Burlandoarchitettura S.T.P. Srl, Ambiente S.p.A, has been awarded the Re: Shape The City Prize in the category “Enhancing Appreciation for Public Space”.
The award was presented during the second edition of Re:City – Protagonisti della Trasformazione Urbana, an initiative dedicated to the most significant urban regeneration projects currently shaping the future of Liguria. The recognition celebrates projects distinguished by their positive impact on local communities.
Conceived as a new public green infrastructure for the Campasso district, Ardoino Park enhances the environmental and social quality of a strategic area of Genoa through new public spaces, pedestrian and cycling connections, sports facilities and the planting of over 300 trees, promoting biodiversity and climate resilience.
The award acknowledges the role of public space as a catalyst for urban transformation and collective well-being. As part of the wider Genova Campasso initiative, the project promotes a vision of the city where nature, accessibility and social inclusion become essential components of urban regeneration.
