From May 29 to 31, Evolve’s Laboratorio sull’Edilizia Contemporanea (Laboratory on Contemporary Construction) takes place in Amatrice, with the aim of providing a space for technical review, direct exchange, and real solutions applicable to reconstruction sites, in which Stefano Boeri participates.
On Friday, May 29 at 6:00 PM, as part of the round table Projects and Ideas Compared – The City of the Future, Stefano Boeri joins remotely in dialogue with Alberto Colleoni – CEO of T2D spa; Paolo Trancassini, Member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies; and Guido Castelli, Commissioner for Reconstruction: “What we have done and what we have started.”
In this context, the experiences of the studio Stefano Boeri Architetti are presented regarding its involvement in the reconstruction of the city following the earthquake: Il Polo del Gusto, a space open to the community, centered on food as a fundamental bond of a community and a potential driver of economic recovery for a region historically tied to a deep and rooted gastronomic tradition; and Casa Futuro, currently under construction, which involves the rebuilding of the Don Minozzi Complex in Amatrice, a historic site of great importance for the city and the surrounding area, damaged by the 2016 earthquake.
