From 5 to 8 December, the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy Regional Workshop South East Asia is being held in Kathmandu, Nepal, an event for exchanging and connecting major cities on environmental and climate issues, in which Stefano Boeri Architetti is participating with Lucrezia De Marco, head of the Communication Department.
The Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy is the largest global alliance for climate leadership, founded on the commitment of over 12,500 cities and local governments from 6 continents and 144 countries.
Following the Latin America and Caribbean Climate Week 2023 (LACCW 2023) in Panama City from 23 to 27 October – an event for policy makers, practitioners, businesses and professionals to exchange knowledge on climate solutions – attended by Hana Narvaez, Director of Stefano Boeri Architetti, the meeting in Kathmandu aims to build a network of international experts and professionals to support the energy transition of cities in South East Asia. The theme is to intervene synergistically in urban contexts undergoing profound transformation is necessary to guide their sustainable development, including through the implementation of renewable energies and the integration of nature-based solutions.
