After the recent terroristic attack in Barcelona Stefano Boeri came up with an idea of using the pots with oaks and other plants in the squares of big cities, instead of the concrete blocks.
Florence is one of the first Italian cities to adopt the idea of protecting the public spaces with plants.
Today at Palazzo Vecchio the consultation of ideas to combine security and creativity, involving Mayor Dario Nardella, Stefano Boeri, architects, landscape planners, design experts and representatives of universities and Public Security.
