In the heart of historic Port of Genoa the project for the new seat of the Faculty of Engineering reuses the spaces of an old 350 meters long grain silo, built of reinforced concrete in early 20th century. Beyond opening the urban share of the largest monolith to the city, the project plans to create a diverse system of courts and arcades to bring light into the huge body of the building, completely covered by a new glass skin.
