Liuzhou Forest City, designed by the Italian studio Stefano Boeri Architetti, will be located in north Liuzhou, in the mountainous province of Guangxi. The new city will be energy self-sufficient and, as the Vertical Forest in Milan, will be able to absorb CO2 and pollutants, producing oxygen and helping the growth of local biodiversity.
