The Greenroofs.com is an internet news media dedicated to the promotion the eco-friendly technology of organic green roof architecture. In occasion of the beginning of 2018, this weekend it highlighted the iconic architecture designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti: The Vertical Forest in Milan. This first prototype is a model for a sustainable residential building, contributing to the regeneration of the environment and urban biodiversity.
The Vertical Forest has elevated the definition of “green skyscraper‘” to a new level, offering to its residents a healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle while contributing dramatically to the Milan cityscape. The idea of integration of greenery to urban habitat is becoming a new trend. The studio is developing similar projects for Lausanne, Paris, Utrecht, Eindhoven and the Chinese city of Nanjing.
