The Building & Décor website, which specialises in materials and architectural sustainability, dedicates an article to the Bosco Verticale project in Milan, designed by Boeri Studio (Stefano Boeri, Gianandrea Barreca and Giovanni La Varra) as a prototype for a new architecture of biodiversity, which no longer focuses only on man, but on the relationship between man and other living species.
The article takes into consideration both the general concept, namely “a house for trees that also houses humans and birds”, and the urban characteristics and material choices that define the architectural language and expressive qualities of the project.
