Liuzhou Forest City in the mountainous region of Guangxi, China, is designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti. The project will contain all of the essential typologies of the modern city housed within a 175 hectare site near the Liujiang River. Each building facades will be covered in plant life, the implementation of greenery will benefit both residentials and the environment, acting as a passive cooling system, also helping to grow the biodiversity of the region and improving the quality of the air.
Liuzhou Forest City will be an energy self-sufficient and environmental sustainable.
