Stefano Boeri Architetti presents, in the presence of the Albanian Ministry of Culture Elva Margariti and the Chairman of the Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF ) Michael Granoff , the ongoing progress of the project for the redevelopment of Durres‘ historical assets.
After winning, together with with the local architecture practice SON Group, the tender to support the long-term vision outlined in the recently drafted Integrated Management Plan (IMP) for Durrës, aimed at enhancing the city’s historical assets, the intervention is focusing on the interpretation, presentation, and enhancement of the Roman Amphitheatre and Byzantine Forum and Roman Baths, as well as the design of a series of urban pathways in the historic centre of Durrës.
