
On Wednesday, June 25 at 5:30 PM, the event Napoli 2050 – Dialogues to Imagine the City’s Future Between Infrastructure, Innovation, Tourism, and Sustainability, organized by Corriere della Sera, takes place, with the participation of Stefano Boeri.

Naples and the Campania region face a crucial challenge: transforming their potential into a model of sustainable and innovative growth by 2050. The region’s strategic position in the Mediterranean, its cultural heritage, and the vibrancy of its entrepreneurial fabric represent key strengths on which to build a new vision for economic development.
In this context, Stefano Boeri will take part in a panel titled Future Visions: Innovation, Urban Planning, Tourism, Education, alongside Roberto Barbieri, CEO of GE.S.A.C. Spa; Giorgio Ventre, Director of the Apple Academy; and Teresa Armato, Naples City Councilor for Tourism and Productive Activities, with a special mandate for the celebrations of Napoli 2500. Boeri will present several projects by Stefano Boeri Architetti focused on territorial regeneration and redevelopment, including the Coastal Masterplan for South Salerno, aimed at developing the Campanian coast and involving eight municipalities (Salerno, Pontecagnano-Faiano, Bellizzi, Battipaglia, Eboli, Capaccio-Paestum, Agropoli, and Castellabate).
Other speakers include: Gaetano Manfredi, Mayor of Naples and President of ANCI; Raffaele Fitto, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission and European Commissioner for Regional and Cohesion Policy, Regional Development, Cities, and Reforms; and Venanzio Postiglione, Deputy Editor of Corriere della Sera.
