On Friday, July 17, in Marzocca di Senigallia, the 16th edition of Demanio Marittimo. Km-278 takes place — the marathon dedicated to the arts, architecture, design, and the Adriatic dimension, curated by Cristiana Colli and Pippo Ciorra, which features the screening of the documentary on the expansion of Mancini Pastificio Agricolo, designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti.
The theme reflects the phenomena and concepts that characterize the contemporary world. Order & Chaos — whose most essential and crucial interrelation is underscored by the ampersand — are the poles of an economic, geopolitical, and cultural condition that is redrawing the world as we have known it within the arrangements that emerged after the Second World War.
The architectural heart of the evening will be the lecture by Mexican architect Tatiana Bilbao. Author of major projects (the Mazatlán Aquarium, the Culiacán botanical garden, the unforgettable Holy See pavilion at the last architecture biennale), Bilbao is an essential voice in the debate on the relationship between design, nature, and ecosystems.
Within this context, the documentary Il Tempo della Terra telling the story of the expansion of Mancini Pastificio Agricolo is presented — a project developed in a place where agriculture and architecture coincide: a pasta factory immersed in wheat fields, where the entire supply chain, from cultivation to processing, takes place on the same site, following the rhythms of the seasons rather than those of industry.
