On Thursday, June 12, at 6:30 pm, in the Sala di Città (Via Emilia 92), the public presentation of the General Urban Plan of San Lazzaro di Savena is held. Speakers will include the municipal administration of San Lazzaro di Savena and the design team composed of MATE Società Cooperativa (group leader), Stefano Boeri Architetti, Studio Silva, and Tecnocreo.
The new PUG comes from the desire to integrate the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals and those established by regional urban planning law, outlining a strategic vision for the future of the city.
The definition of objectives, strategies, and actions allows the strategic vision of the PUG to be put into practice by addressing priority issues for the city with the aim of improving urban quality, enhancing its attractiveness, and increasing its wider and more generalized use.
In this way, the PUG outlines the lines of urban regeneration in line with the diagnostic framework, environmental policies, and socio-economic development policies at the local, regional, and European levels.
