From October 10 to 12, Modena will host S.E.M.I. 2025, three days of meetings, screenings, dialogues, visits, and open discussions on the value of culture as a driver of innovation — with the participation of Stefano Boeri.
Under the title “Cultural Intelligence: What Future for Humanity?”, the event aims to go beyond the boundaries of individual sectors, creating common ground where culture, tourism, economy, sports, business, and art can meet, interact, and inspire one another.
From the event description:
“In a time when artificial intelligence is making its way into every aspect of human experience, the concept of cultural intelligence emerges as an essential resource for the future of humanity. We are not speaking of erudition or mere adaptation to differences, but of the profound ability to understand, respect, and interact effectively with diverse cultures in an interconnected world that is increasingly fragile and complex. What we define as the ‘Cultural Intelligence Quotient’ is one of the key tools for addressing the crises of our time: from geopolitical conflicts to migration, from climate change to technological transformations.”
In this context, on Saturday, October 11 at 12:45 p.m., Stefano Boeri will take part in the session “Witnesses of Our Time – Presentation of the 2025 Italian Cultural Presidia Awards”, alongside Massimo Bottura, Roberto Burioni, Marialina Marcucci, and Giancarlo Giannini, who will be recognized as outstanding figures in Italian culture. The event will be attended by Mayor Luigi Zironi and hosted by Simona Branchetti (Tg5) and Mario De Pizzo (Tg1).
