From May 23 to 25, the Moby Dick Festival Riviera 2025 is held in Noli (Savona), under the theme “Children”, featuring the participation of Stefano Boeri.
From the event synopsis:
“To focus on children means shining a light on families, relationships, material and immaterial legacies, and origins—fortunate or not—which represent an initial form of absolute inheritance. One can break away from this inheritance, through social redemption or conscious distancing, but only by paying a very high price.
It is their figure we wish to examine more closely today through a series of discussions exploring their roles, responsibilities, and the challenges they face.
To support this exploration, we will be guided by a select group of Italian and international guests, who will share their new works, reflections, and insights—offering a rich variety of perspectives and analyses.”
On Saturday, May 24 at 5:30 PM, in Piazza Chiappella, the talk “Il Barone Rampate” takes place, featuring a conversation between Stefano Boeri and journalist Antonio Gnoli. The discussion revolves around youthful passions, obsessions, and dreams, the importance of young people as a resource, the responsibility we bear regarding the environment, and—taking a sociological perspective—how architecture can influence people’s lives.
