Maison de l'italie

On Tuesday, October 21, the Maison de l’Italie in Paris hosts the presentation of the book BOSCO VERTICALE, Morphology of a Vertical Forest, curated by Stefano Boeri Architetti—a comprehensive monograph on the project published by Rizzoli.

The book retraces the story of the project through an editorial structure that evokes the growth of a tree, with its roots, trunk, and branches. The roots represent the intuition of an innovative idea, born from creative and artistic inspirations. The trunk corresponds to the genesis of the project, the challenges faced in structural, technological, and environmental terms, and the construction process. Finally, the branches embody the life of the Bosco itself: on one hand, its place within the context of international architecture—marking a shift toward integrating living nature into the urban environment—and on the other, its autonomous path as a symbol and catalyst of biodiversity, also within the collective imagination.

The event will feature a conversation between Stefano Boeri, Francesca Cesa Bianchi—Founding Partner of Stefano Boeri Architetti—and Emanuele Coccia, philosopher and professor at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales, who has contributed a text to the volume, along with other international scholars and authors such as Beatriz Colomina, Emanuele Coccia, Paul Hawken, Vittorio Lingiardi, Manuel Orazi, Matilda van den Bosch, and James Wines.

The event is free to attend. Registration: https://my.weezevent.com/bosco-verticale-morphology-of-a-vertical-forest

In addition, Stefano Boeri, together with Andrea Branzi, will take part in the artistic project Animaux dans la Ville, presented by the Fondation Cartier and RATP at the Galerie Valois (Palais-Royal – Musée du Louvre metro station, exit 4). The project will be open to the public free of charge from October 22, 2025, to February 2026.
