To mark Milan Green Week 2025, HeritACT – a project introducing innovative and inclusive architectural and design solutions, as well as artistic and cultural practices to support environmental and cultural sustainability – is holding two events exploring the future of urban farmhouses as cultural heritage.
On Friday 19 and Saturday 20 September, “Laboratories for the Sustainable City” will explore how small-scale architectural and landscaping interventions, developed in collaboration with local communities, can stimulate the regeneration of spaces and social relations, encouraging novel approaches to living and experiencing farmsteads.
Stefano Boeri Architetti, Land Italia, the Municipality of Milan and Things, supported by CasciNet and Apicoltura Veca, are inviting citizens to an open, creative workshop to collectively envision the future of Cascina Linterno and Cascina Sant’Ambrogio – CasciNet.
The workshops will shape concrete proposals for activating and animating the interventions, answering three key questions: who can be involved, what can happen in these spaces, and how can we organise ourselves in an innovative and sustainable way?
The workshops will take place at two different times:
Cascina Sant’Ambrogio – CasciNet
Via Cavriana 38, Milan
Friday 19 September: 16:00 – 18:00
Event in collaboration with CasciNet.
Cascina Linterno
Via Fratelli Zoia 194, Milan
Saturday 20 September: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
