From July 9 to 12, 2025, the cultural festival Il Libro Possibile returns to Polignano a Mare, organized by the cultural association Artes – architect Stefano Boeri take parts in the event to present the volume BOSCO VERTICALE – Morphology of a Vertical Forest, edited by Stefano Boeri Architetti—a comprehensive monograph dedicated to the tenth anniversary of Milan’s Vertical Forest (Boeri Studio).
The festival winds through the historic center of Polignano a Mare, with stands and small mobile bookstores, making the event open and accessible to the local community.
On Friday, July 11 at 10:15 PM, at Lungomare Domenico Modugno (Largo Gelso), Stefano Boeri presents the book, published by Rizzoli, in a dialogue with journalist Francesca Santolini.
Edited by the studio Stefano Boeri Architetti, the book retraces the history of the Vertical Forest project, with a publishing structure that evokes the growth of a tree—its roots, trunk, and branches.
The publication features contributions from internationally renowned authors and scholars—Beatriz Colomina, Emanuele Coccia, Paul Hawken, Vittorio Lingiardi, Manuel Orazi, Matilda van den Bosch, and James Wines—alongside sketches and drawings, original illustrations by comic artist Enrico Pinto, and photographs of the building throughout the seasons and over the years, from its construction to the present day, by Laura Cionci, Elisa Galluzzo, Dimitar Harizanov, Giovanni Nardi, and Paolo Rosselli. It also includes an exclusive photo portfolio by Iwan Baan, created specifically for this volume.
