Stefano Boeri Architetti<\/strong><\/a> designed Liuzhou Forest City<\/strong><\/a>, the first forest city in the world, which will be built in north Liuzhou in the mountainous province of Guangxi, an area of 175 hectare along Liujiang river.
\nThe new city will have all the features of a self-sustaining urban settlement, thanks to the use of renewable energies and the vegetation cover on buildings, which will act as an internal-external thermoregulatory instead of assorbing CO2 and cleaning the air from pollutants.
\nThe Forest City<\/strong><\/a> concept is a continuous research for a new generation of architecture and urban settlements that challenges climate changes and will be a model for the future of the planet.<\/p>\n
