The project will be explained in details to the press and to the citizens, to the presence of the institutions, of the management and of the FAL staff, of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stefanoboeriarchitetti.net\/en\/stefano-boeri-biography\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Stefano Boeri<\/b><\/a> and of the architects of his practice,<strong> Marco Giorgio<\/strong> and <strong>Maddalena Maraffi<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\">The station has been conceived as a landmark for the new city, connected by an axis to the Ancient City of the Stones.<br \/>\nA wide roof that protects the train platform positioned at a lower level, hypogeum as the historical stones and modern thanks to the integration with a photovoltaic cover able to produce energy for the surrounding area and for the axis that link the station to the stones.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"> The new railway line will make possible the <strong>Bari-Matera<\/strong> connection, passing through Altamura.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\">Speakers at the event:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><strong>Rosario Almiento<\/strong>, Fal President<br \/>\n<strong>Matteo Colamussi<\/strong>, Fal General Director<br \/>\n<strong>Andrea Gibelli<\/strong>, Asstra President<br \/>\n<strong>Salvatore De Ruggieri<\/strong>, Mayor of Matera<br \/>\n<strong>Vito Bardi<\/strong>, Region Basilicata President<br \/>\n<strong>Salvatore Nastasi<\/strong>, Mibact General Secretary<br \/>\n<strong>Stefano Boeri<\/strong>, Architect<br \/>\n<strong>Paola De Micheli<\/strong>, Infrastructure and Transport Ministry<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The institutional opening ceremony will be broadcast on our Facebook: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/StefanoBoeriArchitetti\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/StefanoBoeriArchitetti\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On November 13th, 2019 at 11 am the New Matera Central Station of Ferrovie Appulo Lucane designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti inaugurates.
