The studies for the realization of the first prototype of Vertical Forest<\/strong><\/a> required to test the effect of the wind force, in order to calculate the levers and the dynamics acting on the trees at different heights and angles.
\nThis is the video of the first trees test in Miami wind tunnel in 2010.<\/p>\n

A first step was made during the preliminary design starting from a 1:20 scale model, with shafts modeled and positioned on dynamometers, considering the changes that the morphology of the city, current and future, determines on the wind flow in the real context of Porta Nuova. The results allowed to optimize the distribution of the trees on the fa\u00e7ade and to evaluate the sizing of the trees.<\/p>\n

The complete package (tank, tree, anchors, substrate), calculated in the form of a table, was then live tested
\nin the wind tunnel in Miami, where it was possible to test real trees, for winds up to 190 km \/ h.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
