
On Exibart an article that tells the new Urban Forestry of Milan, an ever-greener metropolis. Milan Green City welcomes the World Forum on Urban Forest – on 21 and 22 November – and reaches the first goal of Urban Forestation in the following days, with the planting of the first thousand trees belonging to the ForestaMi project, conceived by Stefano Boeri.
The architect’s project is joined by the wishes of the Milanese municipality that aims to overcome the planting of 20,000 trees per year, by committing to plant two trees for each new-born, achieving a surprising and stimulating result to counter the CO2 emissions caused from urban realities.
