The need of rethinking the masterplan of Rovereto comes from some considerations about the speed of changes the city is experiencing, which have not been looked into from the right view point yet. Three main issues of mutation were identified: tourism, university and infrastructures. An opening event was planned for each of them: future scenarios were finally drawn from this background, the objective being a major transformation of both the town and the way to experience it. The project will locate some strategic areas to be improved in connection with the new face of the city.
