An international jury headed by Stefano Boeri awarded VIA 57 West in NY the 2016 International Highrise Award, the prize Boeri’s Bosco Verticale won in 2014.
Stefano Boeri said: “BIG’s VIA 57 West is very different from Bosco Verticale. I appreciated its innovative content and the idea to change a city block into a sort of courtyard house, keeping the height of a classical New York building”.
