    The new masterplan of Seregno (40.000 inhabitants) was based on two methodological issues: acknowledgment of uses and possible interpretation of the territory; collaboration with both local public planning offices and inhabitants.

    The Masterplan is composed not only of a zoning plan, but also of other documents: a set of designed implementation rules, a map where strategic nodes of the city are spotted, a guide suggesting possible solutions directing the modalities for both ordinary and small-scale transformations of the city.
