    The new Masterplan pivots upon two main goals: first, to increase and improve the port activities providing the site with new areas, services and infrastructures; second, to ridefine the relationship between port and historical city

    . A set of nowadays unaccessible zones, are re-introduced in the system of urban spaces by improving the infrastructural network. A series of new urban programmes will be accomodated in these areas, in order to recreate cohabitation between port and city.
