The European Centre of Advanced Biomedical Research, promoted by Professor Veronesi as an extention of the IEO Plant, located in Ripamonti street, it is a big city of the medicine, where in the following years shall converge Clinics, Research Centres for Molecular Medicine, Receptive Structures and University Institutes.
The project takes place around a big green area (over 50 hectares) inside the Agricoltural Park South of Milan.
Phase one programmed for the year (2008) shall see the realization of the new Clinics Besta and Monzino, and a Research Centre for 36.000 sqm, over a total of nearly 100.000 sqm.
Upon completion, the whole area shall develop 300.000 sqm of activities related to the Scientific Research, to the Clinics and to the University.
