ABITARE A MILANO

August 2, 2005

The project begins from the consideration of the principle of incremental and modular residential building construction developments, of services to the residence and to the district, activating public space in a system of open spaces. The system we propose, it composes of a series of low elements that characterize the “words” of a grammatical construction of the project.

The “words” represent the living modules, a wide spectrum of different type of open spaces and a group of modules to accomodate public services, relation spaces, commercial spaces, offices and other activities. These slightest elements aggregated together, promoting “phrases” that are least units on the construction of the area, but also autonomous parts of the building complex. The whole of these aggregation, build up a conversation that is the possible shape – one of the many – that beginning from the least unit elements, could assume the settlement of Senigallia street.
